Who This App Is For

11+ Vocabulary Practice is designed for children aged approximately 9 to 11 who are preparing for the UK 11+ examination. The app is intended to be used under parental supervision.

Children should not register without the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. By allowing a child to use this Service, the parent or guardian agrees to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy on the child's behalf.

Our Commitments to Families

🚫 No advertising

The app contains zero adverts, sponsored content, or tracking for advertising purposes. We do not share children's data with advertisers.

💳 Premium membership available

Every feature — all 2,200+ words, quizzes, progress tracking, and the parent dashboard — is included at no additional cost. There are no subscriptions, upgrades or hidden charges.

💬 No social features

There is no messaging, chat, or friend functionality. The leaderboard displays only chosen usernames — no real names, photographs or identifying information.

🔒 Safe content

All vocabulary definitions, example sentences and quiz content have been written specifically for children aged 9–11. Content has been reviewed to ensure it is educational, age-appropriate, and free from harmful, violent or inappropriate material.

🕐 Healthy screen time

Daily lessons are designed to take 10–15 minutes. The app does not use infinite scrolling, countdown timers, manipulative notifications, or other addictive design patterns.

🔔 Optional notifications

Push notifications are optional. We only send educational reminders — for example, "Time for your daily lesson!" We never send promotional messages. Notifications can be turned off at any time in the device settings.

Parent Dashboard

Every account includes a PIN-protected parent dashboard where parents and guardians can:

• View their child's daily and weekly learning progress
• See XP earned, current streak and total words learned
• Identify vocabulary categories that need more practice
• Monitor how many days per week the child is active

The parent dashboard is accessed from within the app using a 4-digit PIN set by the parent.

Children's Data

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the learning service. We do not collect:

• The child's real full name, school name, or home address
• Photographs, camera or microphone access
• Precise location data
• Data for advertising or profiling

Children should not use their real name as their username or character name.

Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

UK Children's Code

We are committed to meeting the standards set out in the UK Information Commissioner's Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code). This includes applying high privacy settings by default, using plain language, and ensuring the best interests of the child are our primary consideration.
